The 18th winner of the 2000 Guineas, held on Tuesday 25th May 1826 over the Rowley Mile, was Dervise (7/2), a bay colt by Merlin out of Pawn Junior, owned by the 4th Duke of Grafton. A field of 7 runners contested the race which was worth 1200 Guineas (Equivalent to £108,200 in 2017)
